Volkmar Wentzel's photographs were exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, The Smithsonian, et al. His father, Dr. Wentzel was a a distinguished photo-chemist and dedicated photographer who like Alfred Stieglitz, studied under Professor Dr. Hermann Vogel, the celebrated scientist and early champion of photography as an art form.
