Limited edition, copy 7 of 15 (total edition of 120) on Velin D'Arches with an original gouache initialed and dated by Del Re, and a suite of four monochrome lithographs on Japan nacre, each signed and numbered in pencil. Translated by Franca Trentin Baratto. Ten original color lithographs including two double-page. In mythology, Marsays was the satyr who had the gall to challenge Apollo in a flute competition. Apollo won, pursued Marsyas, and brutally flayed him. His blood then turned into the River Marsyas. Text in French. Elegantly printed by Maeght.
