Old French Etchings Along The Marne

A complete set of five etchings: Canal Bridge, The Old Well at Toul, A Street Scene, The Fireside, The Fagot Gatherer, plus at inside back cover a bifold leaf, a description of each and an additional etching, "Here am I," a crane hoisting debris. Sizes of the five etchings in inches: Canal [7 1/8 x 10 1/4]. Old Well [10 1/4 x 7 5/8], Street [9 1/2 x 6 1/2], Street [9 1/2 x 6 1/2], Fireside [6 3/4 x 6], Gatherer [9 1/8 x 7 1/4]. Two of aforementioned printed is sepia, all on laid paper, distinct plate impressions on each. Edwill Fisher (1896-1960], an American artist from Indiana, thence to Minneapolis. He was a cartographer in the US Army during WWI in France. After the war he studied art and etching in France. Front cover with iridescent gold, green, orange and blue marbled designs.
